Reiki Rune Rope
The day was September 1, 2024, a magical vision came to me while I was studying my rune book. I had recently found my first set of runes and was really getting into the runes as another divination tool. So I purchased the book to reading up on the history of Runes. While I’m reading I came to a section about the Web of Wyrd, which is a matrix of fate, it consists of 3 sets of 3 lines, totaling the number 9. In Norse mythology the web embodies the concept of interconnectedness between the past, present, and future, emphasizing that every action has consequences. The idea suggests that all events in the universe are interlinked, and that choices and actions can ripple through time and affect the future.
In my book there wasn’t a picture of the Web so I Googled it to get a better idea in my mind of what this Web of Wyrd looked like. When I seen it I thought to myself, I could do that pattern with Rope on someone. I immediately called up my Grampa OG Steve and was like I need to tie a web of wyrd on you and see what comes of this. It is a MUST DO!! He of course agreed and we got to work almost immediately on that, he came over that evening.
Fast Forward to that evening, I have 2 colors of rope, Teal and Purple jute rope. My first ever set of rope gifted to me by a very good friend. So I have the strands of rope that I’m infusing with Reiki and I’m looking at Steve as I do when I’m about to rope anyone, assessing my canvas and where the rope will be going. I then decided since we’re doing a rune rope thing why don’t I pull a rune and see if I can incorporate that rune in the back or somewhere. The first rune pulled was I - ISA. Easy enough!! That’s just a line. So I pulled a 2nd one to see if I could get a challege or something other than just a line. The 2nd rune I pulled was XX - INGWAZ. I’m like wow, the web of wyrd is going to have this pattern in it already too. So I went for a 3rd rune, like come on can you give me a challenge on top of what I’m already doing here with the web of wyrd?? The 3rd rune I pulled was a BLANK!!!! Ok Universe, I heard you now. Just do the damn web of wyrd! Stop overthinking it!
I made the front look like a web of wyrd but then in the back there’s all the leftover rope, and what do you do with that to complete the piece? I went on autopilot tying, didn’t over think it, just went by feeling and finished tying up the rest of the rope on the back. After I’m finished I took a picture to show OG Steve, and he takes one look at it and says that’s a TREE OF LIFE Granddaughter! Not only was it a tree, but we seen 4 different runes in the back! I did a rune reading based on the runes I seen on the back of the piece which made the whole experience EVEN MORE MAGICAL!!
I knew I had discovered something very special and unique, but it didn’t really sink in until the next day. This is my calling! I process Reiki through Rope, and I can incorporate Runes into the Rope for a magical unique healing experience. It’s been a little of a month since that day and it has fully sunk in what I have discovered here. I’m ready to start healing with Reiki and Rope! Seeking magick and holistic events in my area to put myself out there as a Healer! ✌️
